Outrigger Financial was created with a simple belief: everyone deserves the chance to understand their money, protect their whānau, and build a better future—without fear, confusion, or pressure.

Founded by Akili Namuaira, a proud Fijian with Tongan roots, Outrigger Financial exists to serve Pasifika and Māori whānau across Aotearoa with genuine care, cultural understanding, and clear financial guidance.

Why We Exist

Many of our people have been left out of the financial system—told it’s too hard, or not for them. But we know better. We know that given the right advice, our communities can build wealth, protect their families, and make confident decisions for generations to come.
